In this very special episode of Party XP, Jeff and Lakan reflect on the year that was. They discuss their favorite episodes, least-enjoyed recommendations, and everything they've enjoyed throughout 2022. Thanks to all of you for a great year and let's make 2023 even better!

Lakan sends Jeff to space in the latest episode of Party XP, giving him the cooperative space dwarf shooter Deep Rock Galactic to play. The friends discuss their experiences in deep space, co-op shooters, being friendly with strangers on the internet, and more. Rock and stone!

On this week's episode, Jeff shows Lakan the upcoming indie rhythm game Scratchin' Melodii, a fun throwback to Parappa the Rapper and Um Jammer Lammy. The pair review the game's short demo and yet again discuss their love for music and rhythm games. Maybe one day, they'll play something that doesn't involve music. 

On this week's episode, Jeff watches John Wick, the popular action-thriller starring Keanu Reeves. Lakan gushes over his love for the film and the guys talk more about action flicks, both new and old.

In this episode of Party XP, Jeff shares his re-found love of Yu-Gi-Oh with Lakan and suggests he try out Master Duel, the latest online YGO simulator. How will Lakan fare? The pair also talk about card game mechanics and their experience with other games, like Magic: The Gathering and the Pokemon TCG. 

Lakan makes Jeff play another roguelike, offering up Spelunky. Will Jeff have a similar experience to the myriad of other roguelikes he's had to endure over the past few months? Or will he enjoy it like so many others in the gaming world?

In the first Bonus Stage episode, Jeff and Lakan both play shorter games and discuss them in the same episode. Jeff is given the indie puzzle harem simulator Helltaker, while Lakan plays Octodad: Dadliest Catch, where you play as someone's dad and go to the aquarium. 

In this week's episode, Jeff gives Lakan the game that altered his entire perspective on video games, game design, and life in general — Doom (2016). Will Lakan also love the violencecore game of a generation?

On this very special episode of Party XP, Lakan suggests Justin Stander's indie platformer Katana Zero to Jeff. The pair discuss the game's awesome aesthetics, over-the-top action, and heavy themes.
