One thing we as a church can do is to help people understand that often their preconceived notions about church, the Bible, and even Jesus, are often misguided. Because most people who are not Christ-followers believe that church is boring, that the Bible is just a list of old-fashioned rules, and that Jesus was just a really nice guy.
