When God revealed His name as Yahweh in the Old Testament, it wasn’t just a title—it was a declaration. Yahweh, the personal name of God, is used over 6,000 times in Scripture. It means “I Am Who I Am” (Exodus 3:14). He is not defined by time, culture, or circumstance. He simply is.

Prayer isn’t a performance—it’s a personal, daily connection with our loving Father. When Jesus’ disciples asked Him to teach them to pray, He gave them a model rooted in relationship, trust, and dependence. In every moment—good or hard—prayer anchors our hearts, aligns our lives with God’s will, and draws us closer to Him.

Prayer doesn’t come naturally—it’s something we learn in relationship with our Father. In Luke 11, Jesus answers His disciples’ request with a simple, powerful framework that centers on worship, dependence, and surrender. This message explores how prayer is not performance but a personal, transformative conversation with a loving and sovereign God.

God prunes us and shapes us according to His perfect plan and design for our lives. While this process can be painful in the moment, the outcome is always best and produces something beautiful in the end.

God has given us everything we need to grow in our faith. We take our next steps and live a life of devotion so that we put down roots in our faith and experience the growth He desires.
