Flip flopping crosswinds made for an exciting day at the RC field! Jay’s flying partner had a few mishaps that day.  The boys discuss techniques on training for better crosswind landings and pattern work.

The day kicks off with the guys catching up with Eric, owner and CEO of 3DAeroventures .   Eric shares with us his amazing designs and new filaments that can be downloaded and purchased from his website. Mike and Jay talk about some mishaps on the flight line and their flights of Horizon Hobby’s newest aircraft the  OV-10 Bronco .

“Brisk” opening day of the Arizona Electric Festival 2022, Shannon Gallagher organizer of this event outlines events for the next 3 days. Horizon Hobbies Field/Team Marketing Manager Ali Machinchy graces us with a rundown of the exciting new products that are coming from Horizon!

The guys are pumped to see all their friends at the upcoming Arizona Electric Festival 2022 but sadly they recieved some devastating news about a close friend.

The guys ring in the New Year with a lawsuit from Race Day Quad (RDQ) with oral arguments before the DC circuit  court.

AZ was a good boy and got his new shop just in time for Christmas! He tells tales of lost moving boxes and Fedex/UPS deliveries not being able to find his new home.

Jay and Jim are out at the field  maidening and remaidening  a few planes,  Jim manages to resurrects one from the dead “it’s alive!” AZ Mike talks about a town hall meeting ( https://youtu.be/1-TTFWwxUHM ) where they want to outlaw drones in the name of safety, is your town next?

The guys track down Shannon Gallagher “somewhere” from a semi-secret location in the country via his car. He gives us a update on the upcoming Arizona Electric Festival – 2022 in February. They also talk about the “dark days” ahead with RC deals this coming black Friday.

Join the guys as they discuss the trip that AZ Mike took to the Jet Rally over in California. There were lots of Huge Jets at the event and plenty of flying.

The FAA is back to it’s hijinks but it seems that one of our RC stores has had enough of being bullied by the government and has brought forth a lawsuit. Will this turn the tide of government over reach or will it hasten the downfall over our hobby?

AZ Mike is finally done with his training and has some time for some RC flying. While out at the field he maiden a plane that is hell bent on destroying itself!  Turns out this plane needs a double “safety” check.

Doug Leroy, President of the Holly Springs Skyhawks  joins us to talk about their big upcoming flying event this Labor day weekend. Sounds like a  piece of cake for this veteran club to undertake, I mean how hard can it be “post” covid?

Jay and Mike talk about then newest video from Bruce at his Xjet channel on Youtube. Seems the Federal Aviation Administration has some new rule proposals (AC 91-57C) that will effect our flying hobby! It may not be “what” they are proposing but the “platform” (Acs Circulars) they are going to use that will bypass the usual checks and balances that are in place at this time...

Jim has brilliantly repaired the landing gear on his plane from our last outing.  Jay is going to be buddy boxing Jim but this plane has other ideas…. Standby for important safety tips and stories, enjoy!
