Confidence is so important for us as believers. It’s something that is largely looked down upon, because so many of us find confidence in ourselves, our abilities, and our skills – but that doesn’t give us the kind of confidence we need. If we are insecure, we need to find our confidence in Christ and who he says we are.

We are given a new covenant by God through Jesus Christ. In fact, the old covenant was there to point to the new – it is a shadow of the things to come. The new covenant will place the Word of God in our hearts, the Word of God on our lips, and our sins will be forgotten by God.
