Pariyatti
Pariyatti exists to bring people into contact with the teachings of the Buddha. We provide resources in the Theravāda tradition, and support Pāli language students and Vipassana meditators, in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin as taught by S.N. Goenka. We serve meditators, scholars, educators and the public by providing ready access to hard-to-find titles, a large collection of online resources, pilgrimages, and Pāli workshops.

Story 4 from 'A Lifetime Doing Nothing' by Ian McCrorie . Because I had seldom, if ever, sat quietly in a room alone, the irony was that I thought my mind was akin to a well-oiled Bianchi racing bike. Of course, I was totally deluded. I had equated intelligence, literacy, strong opinions, and popularity with a beautiful mind—a Bianchi, if you will. In fact,... narrated by Ian McCrorie 2022 5 minut...

Buddhist Therapy 20.05.2021
Buddhist Therapy by Ruth Walshe . "Is Buddhism closely related to psychology? To some extent, yes - but with one tremendous difference: While psychology helps you to understand yourself intellectually and, at best emotionally, Buddhism helps you to get beyond the intellect to the actual experience of life itself. Why the Buddha Did Not Preach to a Hungry Man from Bodhi Leaf No. 121 by Louis van Loon What makes one man poor and another rich is not only a question of material possessions, how much they consume or the extent to which they are able to satisfy their cravings. Chapter 27 - A Great Cry On Earth from Cultivating Inner Peace by Paul R. Fleischman, M.D. The practices from which inner peace derives, and which it in turn furthers, transcend material reality without rejecting it.
