Jesus may be gone but He is still at work.  Jesus hasn’t just let us with a bunch of old memories of himself as recorded in Scripture . . .   He is giving us new memories and new experiences as He works in and through us to spread His glory across this earth.

Are you a citizen of the Great King’s kingdom?  Do you recognize the Servant King and his mission? Pastor Al teaches about the Servant King and his mission in Isaiah 42:1-4.

God’s appeal to us is to look up and see Him open the heavens and reveal Himself in the face of Christ the Davidic King who has come to bring you glorious hope.

The questions that drive our text this morning and really the entire book of Isaiah are, how does God reveal his glory and what response does God expect to his glory?

Paster Al shares how God creates paradise, he restores it and he rejoices over his creation and calls us to rejoice with him.

Jesus anoints us to proclaim good news to the poor and afflicted.  God’s appeal to us during this message is to make that proclamation each and every day of our lives.

The Suffering Servant kept the covenant in order to create a community of covenant keepers through whom God could bless the world.

We have entitled our message the resurrected Servant because God had to create a new servant due to the fact that His servants decided to stop serving God and served instead themselves and the false gods of their own creation.

Sometimes unknowingly we bow down to worship idols that our hearts create.  Al shares from the book of Isiah how to stop that from happening.

How do we put on the righteousness of Christ daily?  Paster Al shares how, from our series in the book of Isaiah titled Living in the shadow of our great king.

What we fear might sometimes surprise us, and cause us to turn away from God.  Pastor Al shares from Isaiah what we are to do when fear knocks at our door.

The issue for Israel in Isaiah’s time was in whom would they ultimately trust? Would they ultimately trust in themselves, in the foreign nations around them, or would they ultimately trust in God?

Isaiah’s commission is unique in the history of redemption, but God has placed Isaiah’s commission here in this text to speak to us about our commission as believers in Christ.

Chapter 6 functions like a hinge for the book of Isaiah it addresses the problem of how rebellious sinful Israel could become God’s holy people whom God would use to teach the nations his ways in order to walk in his paths.
