Last week I was privileged to attend Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California. To those who may not be aware, this event is basically Comic-Con for Star Wars. As such, it was filled to the brim with great celebrities, great costumes, and great merchandise. Join me as I recount my adventures!

On this week's episode of Random Trek, Captain Ingle and I set course for the Original Series' Third Season episode The Empath. While this season is considered one of the weakest in all of Star Trek history, will this episode break the mold or will it be business as usual?  

Beginning tomorrow, I will be embarking on a great adventure; Star Wars Celebration Anaheim! If you don't know what that is, it's basically Comic-Con just for Star Wars fans. Major news often comes out of Celebration; so join with me as we responsibly speculate what might be revealed this year.

We here at Random Trek are of the opinion that Season 1 of Star Trek: Discovery is its weakest. That being said, the 9th episode of the season (Into the Forest I Go) might be one of its best! To those who may not be aware, many Star Wars fans have been desirous to see storytelling in an era known as "the Old Republic". While this concept was vaguely mentioned in A New Hope, the modern Star Wars canon has yet to touch the Old Republic era, save for a few miniscule mentions.
