In looking to Christ, we see the Savior who was pierced and suffered yet remained faithful to God's will. His example, a pattern foretold in the Old Testament, gives us a guide to trust God's faithfulness and submit to God in obedience.

As the exact image of God, Christ displays God’s nature and reveals how God wants us to live. While sin brings out the worst in us, the gospel brings out the best in us — God’s image restored.
