Beth brings us a powerful reminder about the source of our joy. 'Joy isn't something we bring to God, it's a gift that God gives us when we come to Him.' 

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people he favors! In a period of hardship and oppression for Israel, God brings His peace. The good news of peace with God is a reality worth dwelling on. Nick looks at the Gospel of Peace and how that impacts our lives today.

As we are reminded of Jesus' arrival and all of the benefits we have as a result, Christy hits up hope. How does biblical hope differ from the usual understanding of hope in our society today? How does hope change things? 

Shane hits up some challenging passages from Romans 9 and 11, to help us see afresh God's mercy for us - in passages that might seem to show the opposite. It is from our position as the recipients of God's mercy that we are equipped to show that mercy to others; in fact we are obligated to do so.

Shane looks at the three 'I am' statements that Paul makes in Romans 1. Including, "I am obligated both to Greeks and barbarians, both to the wise and the foolish"

The Holy Spirit wants to be a part of our lives. As we continue pressing into the things of the Spirit, Nick speaks into the encouragement of the Holy Spirit as seen in the book of Acts.

This week we had a guest speaker Chad Mansbridge bring us a word on the ABC's of receiving from God as we continue in our season of prayer and fasting while pressing in to the things of the Spirit.

As we step into what might be a very familiar story - the conversion of Saul of Tarsus - may we be freshly astounded at what God did. May we further participate in what God is doing now, confident that He speaks to us, He works through people, and nothing is wasted with God. 

Shane walks us through the 3 A's of hospitality. In an encouraging word he reminds us to consider how we can be a hospitable part of someone else's journey.

We all receive many benefits because of the family we are a part of. Whether that's having a dad who is a carpenter and can help you with renovations, or a mum that's a nurse and can help take care of you medically in many ways.  Nick reminds us of some of the many benefits that we receive because we are a part of God's family.

Christy takes a look at what God's design for community looks like in its fullness. How practicing hospitality amongst a community of believers shows the world a beautiful expression of God's love in a way that can't be expressed as an individual.
