ONE Series: bonus episode (part 1). Ahren explores scriptural examples of conflict in the church to help us understand how to practically handle division and disagreement, especially as it pertains to the current political climate in Canada.

Ahren wraps up our ONE series this week with a timely message on unity within the body of Christ. Speaking on both our current circumstances and our overall way of life, Ahren reminds us about how God designed us to be interdependent. Without one another, we cannot build the church.

We are happy to have Matt back with us this week to talk about what it means to "walk in the flesh" versus "walking in the Spirit." Looking at Galatians 5:19-21, Matt explains the importance of self-examination and confession as it pertains to our lives and the impact we have on those around us.

This week in the ONE series Ahren talks about the ONE Spirit – the Holy Spirit. Who is the Holy Spirit, what does He do, and how does that impact the way in which we behave towards other believers?

How do we see the resurrection breaking through to this life? How does what we do here affect what happens in eternity? In part 2 of his "ONE Hope" message, Ahren looks at how the hope we have in Christ's death and resurrection impacts and influences our present lives.

What does heaven look like? This week in the ONE series, Ahren talks about the one hope that all believers share: the hope for salvation and resurrection. Taking a deeper dive into the topic, he looks at what we know about heaven from the few glimpses we are given in scripture.

Following the Christmas story, we will be taking a look at the flight of Jesus' family to Egypt when he was a young child.

For the fourth week of advent, we are looking at the story of the angels and the shepherds in Luke 2:8-15. Deep-diving into this story, Ahren talks about the connection between giving glory to God and receiving His blessings for us.

The theme for week 3 of our advent series is LOVE. This week, Ahren takes us through the story of Mary and the Magnificat (her poem) in Luke 1:26-37 & 46-55, and examines the careful balance between God's sovereignty over our lives and our responsibility to act and respond.

The theme for our second sermon in the advent series is peace. This week, Ahren takes us on a journey to faith alongside the Magi as we look in depth at Matthew 2:1-12

This week, we begin our advent series. To begin, we are exploring the theme of hope. Looking at John 1:1-5 & 14, Matt walks us through a journey of understanding how Christ's light enters into the darkness.

This week in our ONE series, we're looking at the one face that we share. How free to serve God with joy might we be if we could simply trust in Him by faith to deal with our guilt.

This week in our ONE series we look at what it means to share in Jesus' resurrection. How does the resurrection of Jesus that happened in the past and speaks to our future life with God, affect us in the present? What does it mean to live with hope?

This week in our ONE series we look at what it means to share one baptism with other Christians. Paul uses language about our identification with the death of Christ. What does it mean for our old selves to die so that we can experience new life??

This week we look at what it is to be united under one God. Ephesians 4:6 expresses a trinitarian understanding of who God is. Paul describes the Father as being over us, the Son as being through us, and the Spirit as being in us. What does it mean to be united by having a God that connects us so powerfully on these levels?

If we are to have any hope of offering a unified, relevant witness to the world, Christians must recenter themselves on the main and the plain of the scriptures and the gospel. We must find singular purpose, less oriented around meeting our personal, individual needs, and be unified by the singular purpose to be a church that glorifies Christ. Ephesians 4:1-5

Thanksgiving Sunday: This week we look at the idea of Thanksgiving being more than us just thanking God for the good things he's done for us. It's us saying we want to become those who are not only thankful ourselves, but cause thanksgiving to rise out of others. We don't just want to be thanksgiving towards, we want to be thankscausing.

We recognize our desperate need to completely and honestly take responsibility for our sin, to recognize God as the one against whom we have sinned, and to rely on Him as our just Judge, completely trusting Him for forgiveness and grace apart from all our works.
