Opi & the Bear

Shockingly…Bear is ill, so he's on but not in-house and due to his coughing, Opi and the gang do most of the talking so this one is probably much more enjoyable for everyone! We brief on the current MLB spending but save the good talk for after the NFL season. Talk about last week's first round playoff action in the FBFL and then get into our predictions and discuss what to do with the Jalen Hurts...

Playoffs?!?! You want to talk about Playoffs?!?! Playoffs?!?! Yes...yes we do and we go in DEEP. Lots of good discussion on who has the upper hand and best matchups. Couple questions and thoughts come up as to what teams can or even should do to their lineups. Bear pounds out some interesting stats on each game and the boys have a good time talking football playoffs.

The boys were testing out a new app called Riverside.fm and had some decent success. It was a little spotty a few times with it being a cloud app, but the good news is that Opi didn't drown everyone out like he has in the past. Though that made him sad. The highlight of this one, Bear has an interview with one of the oddest NFL owners and the guys really enjoyed it! We hope you do too!

Bear revealed who cursed him clear back in 2014 causing his downfall in the FBFL. The boys come up with some possible rituals to help get his team back to good form. They then talk about all the different normal stuff drilling into the NFL and at the end, the boys come up with a new team name for idea for Bear to break his fantasy curse.

The new format flies now as we do the usual and go over the FBFL in depth as to how teams did. Just as advertised!! The boys grade the draft from the Saturday before and give everyone their unwanted opinions. Bear starts us off running the Bud Conference draft with AJ and then Opi digs into the Miller league with Ryan. They spent most of the time on that so the predictions had zero rhyme or reason and were essentially just read off but, they get a LOT of energy at the end!
