When we spend a long time struggling with problems in life, we can lose all hope. Running out of hope is like running out of water. But like there are oases in the desert, there is an oasis in the spiritual wilderness. It's the water of life.

We face obstacles in our careers when we make no progress whatsoever. We face them in our relationships when we seem to make no headway. We face them with our personal health when we find no cure for our ailment. What are we do?

In his letter to the Romans, Paul tells them: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” We can rest secure in this assurance.

We live in a world where image is everything. Consequently, we find ourselves wearing masks, pretending to be people we are not, and end up stressed and pressured all the time. We don't need to do this because God isn't looking for perfect people; he is looking for real people.

Gandhi said: “An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind.”  And the world is going blind. Can’t we see that? Or are we already too blind to see? Forgiveness brings healing, both to us and to the world.

We have a tendency to be filled with things that are negative. The problem is that when we are filled with things that are bad, there is no room for the good, because our hearts have limited capacity. So, throw out the trash today!

You may have heard the saying: Nothing is certain but death and taxes. Well, you can add “storms” to that because we are sure to face them as we journey through life. How do we survive them? 

We all do silly things, stupid things, and worst of all, sinful things! When this happens, we believe we have lost all favor with God. But is this true? Listen to this podcast to discover the answer.

In life’s journey, this is one test that we have to go through to make progress of any merit, especially spiritually. We have to remain faithful, even when we cannot see any positive results.

We all want to be admired and appreciated. However, this is dangerous because people are fickle and if we get our sense of self-worth from them, it can be dangerous. Therefore, we need to get our value from God. 

Many of us walk through life looking backward, constantly replaying our mistakes or reliving our injuries. But if we want to move forward in life, we need to keep our eyes straight ahead.

There is only one who has the right to judge because he sees everything, not just the deed. And if he, who has the right to judge, chooses to show mercy, how can we, so in need of mercy, choose to judge?

Every one of us has failed in life's difficult journey, including some of Scripture's greatest heroes. What can we learn from their failures? Here are a few answers.

When we journey through life, we are filled with zeal and passion, but when time passes and nothing remarkable seems to happen, the fire dies out. Take hope. Your season is here.

We have all fallen. We have all failed. However, it doesn't matter how badly we have fallen or how terribly we have failed, we can always make a comeback!

Life is full of disappointments and setbacks. Some of these are of our own making, but many are not. Let us not despair, however. God has better things in store for us.

We have lost years of our lives to the locusts of sin. However, we can take hope from the prophet Joel, who said: “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.”
