One Topic (Now Known As Potato Sandwich)

This episode isn't about orgies. I'm not lying. It's not. Don't get angry when you find out for yourself that it has nothing to do with orgies. 

Autumn wants to date someone. Autumn doesn't want to date anyone. Autumn wants someone around. Autumn wants to be left alone. Autumn says knows what she wants. Autumn doesn't know what she wants. Are you the one she's looking for?

A strange journey this show is. The randomly assigned topic was "Fuel," which started a conversation about the band from the 90s, and ultimately lead to a discussion about Numbers Stations, radio stations that broadcast creepy messages intended to relay information to spies. It's a good one.

Autumn claims she's poor, though she has no real idea what her monthly expenses are. Are her cries of poverty valid? Listening is the only way for you to find out!

On stage, on the air, in life, there's always a performance going on. And in bed. Though unfortunately Autumn and Greg didn't talk about that. Sorry, pervs!

Autumn and Greg dig into the podcasting landscape and explore shows similar to their own - podcasts that focus on "one topic," or something close - ultimately ranking them. SPOILER: They're all better than this version.

...and you'll still have to work many days in your life. So, maybe stop approaching it that way.

When you feel sad, buy dishware. Deal with anger by getting new shoes. An ottoman cures depression. Consumerism! The cure for all that ails!

What's the future of our reality? Will people really want to live in a simulation, where they can buy a new face and trade credits for personality traits? Probably.   Count Autumn and Greg out.

Pseudo father to both hosts of One Topic, Eric Von Haessler joins Autumn to discuss what the hell we do on the radio and what we do in life.

It was quite the journey, washed down the drain and ending up on a cruise ship.

Homescapes is an awful game. It's a terrible, vile, ghastly, appalling, and dreadful creation. And for some reason Greg plays it.

A general discussion about TV, based on Autumn's desire to compare US TV to that in the UK. I promise it's better than that description makes it sound. I think.

Autumn presents a topic that is better categorized as a fleeting thought, so Greg stalls the official start of the episode. 

Due to a recently developed roll of film that rendered poor results, Greg questions his competency and ability to accept his failures. Autumn pushes him to get on Zoloft.  

New York City, the greatest city in the world, is filled with rats. But really, are rats any worse than humans? Probably not.

Autumn recently got her nose pierced. At her advanced age, is this a sign of something bigger? A mid-life crisis, perhaps? Is it weird that out of all the things that have been going on in her life, this is the one that has got her thinking? 

Greg wants to talk about consistency, but the only thing consistent is his misery. Autumn actually wins an argument. 

We really did mean to do a proper episode but....what can I say, we dropped the ball. So, instead, here are the wild ramblings of Autumn. Alone. On a Sunday night. After a margarita. ENJOY!!!

Autumn can't contain her disdain for the Sex and the City continuation, And Just Like That... Greg and Autumn explore the responsibility creators have to their audiences, and how wokeness is in its death throes, as it is packaged and sold like a mass produced food item, chock full of additives and preservatives.

Greg has a mental breakdown looking to buy a Christmas Tree, Autumn uses the story as an opportunity to talk about self-awareness.

Vacuums. The episode is about vacuums. 

Many people are on a desperate grab for acknowledgment. Does this drive them further into digital connectivity, or does the connectivity cause the need to be noticed? And does it even matter? Or are we all doomed?
