Representative Lesser started her career as an OB/GYN in the military then later had her own practice in Ogden for many years. In 2021 she was elected to represent Utah's District 10 (South Ogden area) after Representative Lou Shurtleff passed away. Now she's in her second term and she's been elected to the leadership of the democratic caucus. 

Rachel Rose knew from a young age that she wanted to be a tattoo artist. She opened Sacred Rose Tattoo Sanctuary at 2562 Washington Blvd to be a place where everyone could feel welcome and included and get a great tattoo.

Mr. Strate taught and coached at South Ogden Jr. High and Bonneville High School. He was elected to the South Ogden City Council for three terms, and now he's serving his first term on the Utah Board of Education. Plus he was my 8th grade history teacher!

Love Juliet built a big following as Amber Shae writing hundreds of songs that she sings with her guitar and piano on youtube and tik tok and in live performances around Ogden. Recently she's shifted to pop music, changed her name, and worked with a Nashville producer to record and release her first single Alter Ego.

The Local Artisan Collective strives to give local artists a place to grow and collaborate and engage with the community. You can find all kinds of locally created art, clothing, jewelry, crafts, even food there, and teach classes for adults and kids to get hands-on experience with all kinds of artistic mediums. 

Resonomics grew up loving rap and eventually started making songs with his buddy SA on a karaoke machine. He's come a long way since then, and recently he released Junction City (I Love This Place) an anthem to Ogden with a full-length music video set to be released next year. 

This Saturday, October 28th, from 1 - 8 pm and the Union Station is a free, family-friendly Dia De Los Muertos festival with food, music, dancing, costumes, a car show, ofrendas, and more. This episode will teach you a little more about the culture and traditions of this family focused holiday. 

Brandon Nay and Mark Monosso have discovered something incredible in the West Desert, and they've been gathering evidence and talking to experts trying to find someone to help them prove it. Now they're trying to get the word out to get support and help from the public.

Club Mungo is five friends in their early 20s bringing together all of their various talents including rapping, singing, production, film, light, graphic design, and marketing to deliver uniquely well-made music and videos.

Jon Greiner has had many titles in Ogden including Police Chief, State Senator, and Airport Manager. Now he wants to put that experience, and the connections he's made, to work for Ogden as he campaigns to be Ogden's next Mayor.

Bart Blair has helped run his family business Blair's Service Center since he was young, and he's been onthe city council for 14 years. Now he's running for mayor to continue the momentum this city has been building and to focus on customer service from city government. 

Clesh has been making music since he was 15, and he's worked with a ton of great local artists. He and Earthworm make some of the best hip hop around, so I talk to him about his process and passion and we just have a good old time. 

When he was young he helped his dad start a business that has grown into something huge. He's got his own philosophies on managing, learning, and mentorship, and he's always looking for new ways to apply them. Come along for the ride on this one!

The Junior League of Ogden has been bringing women together to serve their community for over 100 years. Heather Dunifer is the new President, and we talk all about their mission, how they do business, and some of their big projects like Oasis Community Garden and the Junior Junior League.

You might have heard of Ben Nadolski because he's a city council member, but also he's running to be Ogden mayor, so it's a good time to get to know him if you haven't already. Plus I ask him about the bird refuge, union station, the city's relationship with developers, the arts and homelessness, so listen now before you die from anticipation.  P.S.
