This week we're looking at the final part of the story of Ruth, in which the story reaches it's wonderfully fulfilling conclusion. Sam looks at how some of the threads of the story tie back together and how this story ushers us to play our part in God's redemptive work in each other. 

It's week 3 of our time in this glorious yet everyday story of Ruth. Dave tackles chapters 2 and 3, in which Ruth and Boaz begin to forge their relationship.

In our second week of looking at the book of Ruth, Sam speaks on the experience of exile and return that is absolutely key through the biblical narrative, but which is also key for all of us as we journey through life. All of us need to experience being lost and found, being exiled and then home, going and returning. Weirdly, in that painful process is redemption and healing.

Dave opens our series on the fascinating, rich and subversive story of Ruth by exploring something of the ancient context of this story. When we understand the world in which this story was written we can receive the lessons of this story for ourselves. 

Dave asks the question of how our lives might actually, practically look different if we followed the command to keep the Sabbath. 

Dave continues our series looking at the Sabbath and how we can begin our year, and centre our lives, around this beautiful gift and practise of ceasing and rest. 

We're beginning the year a little differently. Instead of taking something up, why not cut some things out and embrace rest? This month we're looking at the principle of Sabbath - of stopping, and this week Sam introduces this theme and looks at its presence in the earliest parts of scripture.
