Jesus teaches Nicodemus that no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born again. He reveals God's love in sending His Son to save the world. John introduces Jesus as the eternal Word who was with God and is God. Jesus, the true light, comes into the world and gives the right to become children of God to all who believe in Him. Peter exhorts church leaders to shepherd the flock humbly and faithfully. He urges all believers to be humble, watchful, and firm in faith because the devil seeks to destroy. Peter encourages believers to live for God’s will, not human desires, especially in the face of suffering. He reminds them that suffering for Christ is a blessing and a way to glorify God.
