A Little Princess Chapter 1

A prince wants to marry a true princess but cannot find one he trusts. One stormy night, a girl claiming to be a princess arrives at the palace. The queen tests her by placing a pea under twenty mattresses and twenty featherbeds. When the girl cannot sleep because she feels something hard beneath her, the test proves she is a real princess — and she marries the prince.

Every evening, a little hedgehog visits his friend, a bear cub, to drink tea and count the stars together. One night, while walking through the forest to reach Bear’s house, the hedgehog notices a beautiful white horse standing silently in the distance — but it is surrounded by thick fog. Curious, he wonders whether the horse might drown if it goes into the nearby river, and decides to get a close...
