Corn and soybean futures were higher overnight. July corn finished the overnight session up 4 ½ cents, settling at 6.80. July soybeans were up 6 cents, settling at 13.63. The national corn crop condition rating was reported at 64% good to excellent. This figure is one point lower than last week, is nine points lower than last year at this time, and is six points behind the five-year average.
