On 4th February 2015, David McGealy Station Manager of Oldham Community Radio was the recipient of an exclusive Oldham Council Civic Appreciation Award. Our microphones, as always, were in the council chamber to capture this very special moment.

We visit the Pennine Animal Welfare Society’s family fun dog show which was held at Dawsons field in Scouthead on Sunday.  We chat with dog trainer Helen Taylor and meet some of the winners of the show, plus exhibitors and community volunteers who arranged the event which attracted hundreds of four legged friends.
