Honestly, there's longer fiction in this codex, it's just all later on. Certainly nothing like the fiction contained in the later 3rd ed. Codex Necrons though. Happily, it all comes back around. My first Oldex adaptation was a Graham McNeill story, which felt appropriate given the help he gave me in attributing the authors to the correct stories.
