There is concern and fear about the name of Jesus Christ, but there is only one name under heaven given to men, whereby they might be saved. That name is the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We must cultivate a godly concern about that name as we live in a culture that despises the exclusivity of salvation being found in that name.

Welcome to the OKC Reformed Presbyterian Church! Let us come with joy and gladness to the worship of our great God! We are excited to welcome Pastor Steve Rockhill to preach for us this Lord’s Day. Pastor Rockhill is pastor of Living Way RPC in Bryan, Texas.

There are many fears that can hinder our ability to serve the Lord faithfully, but starting our day with the Lord rightly orients our thoughts, desires, and actions to His service. Let us strive to begin each day in prayer, remembering the Lord is our salvation!

As we prepare to come to the Lord’s Table next week and celebrate Communion, we must be doing that spiritual work of purging the old leaven from our lives. We purge the old leaven, knowing that Christ is our Passover sacrifice.

Those who have received much mercy, must in turn be merciful people. We who were once lost must have a profound love for those who are still lost. That love ought to show itself in a desire to speak of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him.

The church will experience persecution and that persecution can lead to discouragement. But Psalm 2 is a Psalm that should encourage the people of God for it reminds us that we have a King who reigns over all.

The church is the gathering of those who confess Jesus Christ. Our confession of Jesus Christ must show itself in a submission to apostolic doctrine, fervent fellowship, and prayer and praise.

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

When the people of God are distressed, pray to the God of heaven.

After Peter preaches, he calls the people to respond to the preaching by repenting and being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. The Lord promises abundant blessing to those who call upon His name and respond in faith to the preaching.

The person is happy who delights in God’s law. Let us resolve, by the grace of God, to delight in the word of God.

One of the central duties of the church is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. This duty is demonstrated in Peter preaching repentance and faith in Christ from the Scriptures.

Preparation for renewal of covenant of communicant membership.

The church must, by the power of the Holy Spirit, proclaim the gospel which is for all peoples of the earth.

The disciples believe that God’s Word is authoritative and submit themselves to that word. Let us as a church be a people under the authority of God’s Word.

Christ is the blessing in whom all nations of the earth will rejoice. Let us pray that Christ would bless His church so that they would be a blessing to all peoples, and He would be worshiped.
