What are the elements of a Kingdom? What did Jesus mean when He talked about the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God? What do they have to do with my life here on the earth? Join Pastor Bill for Week 1 of our new series as he teaches about the King’s domain and our response to it.

Peace is something that is almost a universal desire, but God’s peace is different. As we wrap up the Beatitudes series, let’s take a look at how peace and persecution are two required elements of the kingdom.

What’s the condition of your heart? What if your heart condition determines your spiritual eyesight? A simple fact of life that we see only what we are able to see. One of the rewards in having a pure heart is that we progressively see more of God. It’s a promise from Jesus! Join Pastor Bill as we continue our series on the Beatitudes.

Doing what is right and finding justice are two of the most noble characteristics that our world needs today. But Jesus said that wasn’t enough! Let’s look at the fourth & fifth beatitudes where Jesus once again raises the bar.

What do you desire more than anything? Jesus taught his disciples, and is still teaching us today, that in order to win we must be willing to play by His rules.

Jesus cares about our pain and our suffering. He understands it personally. He bears wounds. As we recognize our sin, this allows us to experience Godly sorrow which leads us to repentance. This is a beautiful thing in God’s sight. Jesus promises that as we mourn, we will experience comfort which is an eternal blessing.

Jesus tells us who gets to receive the Kingdom of Heaven, and it seems contrast to who we’d normally consider. He said the poor in spirit get this privilege. As Christians we are carriers of the Good News of Jesus. We carry hope, peace and faith. While everyone is concerned of those contagious with a virus, we can spread the hope found in Jesus.
