Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed SB 266 into law on May 16, 2023. The bill was reported as a cut to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) funding at the state's colleges and universities. Hosts Howard Sapp and Dr. Cindy Banyai (a Florida University instructor for 10 years) discuss the other punitive parts of the bill and how it will change higher education in the state for the worse.
