Not To Mention

Dungeons and Dragons is a game fueled by imagination and spontaneity. That makes it ripe for comedy. This week we told each other some tales that highlight our favorite aspects of roleplaying. The goofy stories and memories created with a group of friends around a table, using nothing but a pen, some dice, a whole lot of paper, and a little bit of brains.

The full package including hauntings, urban legends, the occult and aliens. The Hoover Dam, seemingly shrouded in vague secrecy, was the perfect destination to stumble upon in our travels for a Mentionable Mystery. "They died to make the desert bloom." Did we MENTION aliens?

We are all cogs in a machine! We stopped to think about some of the strange and unique jobs that help make this world tick. We don't judge sleeping habits. Who hasn't woke up with a slice of pizza in their pocket? We all have our bedtime rituals and some need zero gravity wind tunnels to sleep. Collin did some "Trollit Redding" for a few juicy sleep walking accounts and we discuss Ryan's pillow status at length.

Idioms, colloquialisms, slang, expressions...do you know the differences? We still don't. Why do we get a charley horse? What happens if you're caught red handed and armed to the teeth without first buttering up a hog on ice? We got to work answering the questions we never knew we had!

Our Season One Finale!!! This Mentionable Mystery brings us to the North Pole for an eerie tale about an expedition that went missing under mysterious circumstances. Captain Franklin and his crew find themselves in an icy predicament far from home. 

Gettin' into the holiday spirit! We dug up some awkward...perhaps embarrassing holiday stories and cracked up at some letters from kids to the elusive Claus. Mentionables, believe us when we say our list to Fatty Santa is extensive.  

We return to an episode format that's been quickly growing on us. After a little digging on Reddit, we have for you a collection of YouTube videos that have not yet hit the viral status. While they may be lesser known we definitely think they deserve our attention just the same.

The Olympics are over and in an attempt to stay relevant we decide now’s the time to talk about them. We play “Are You Smarter Than Josh: Olympic Edition” to find out if Josh is smarter than himself and we are surprised by the results. Then we have a gut busting moment when we learn why doves aren’t used in the Olympic Opening Ceremonies.

Hear ye, hear ye! Check out these hand picked clips with our heroes in Reddit Quest II. They try not to laugh at Mongolian Throat Yodeling, fend off ridiculous seldom seen videos, and are affronted by olympic toddlers. If you're a toddler and you're reading this be sure to tune in.

It's Mentionable Mystery time! We're pretty sure our entire universe is an elaborate simulation. The proof is all around us. For example: My fast food order is almost never correct. Ryan loses his marbles in a discussion about a handful of strange and creepy tales from the internet and we tell a couple of our own "glitch in the matrix" stories.
