Not To Mention

This week we revisited one of the hottest subreddits on the internet Am I The A**hole or r/AITA. We had a lot of questions, more than a few laughs and maybe even some hot takes discussing and deliberating "who is the a**hole?".

Thomas Edwin Dehaan (AKA Tommy Chatterbox) gives us his life story. From touring on the road operating lights with his first band UV Hippo to PM for Kevin Gates and everything inbetween. Tommy has a great sense of humor, radiates joy, and holds the world record for fastest talker (we think). He's the ideal guest and we had a great time trading stories with him for an hour.

An episode about hilarious moments in history. From an Interpreters botch job during a Jimmy Carter speech to the Australian militaries failed attempt at mass Emu extermination.

Here at N2M we're intrigued by all things mysterious and/or magical so this week's episode revolved around exactly that, otherwise the afore mentioned information would be irrelevant. More specifically we focused on mysterious circumstances involving the medical and scientific communities.

Erika Dajoh is, among many other things, a project manager and lead for the event industry.  She joined us for an episode to talk about her experiences in the world of event production. From a month long Bonaroo gauntlet to the wonders and horrors of burning man. Erika does a great job of giving people a taste of the ups and downs of her job and we had a blast. 

This week we covered the internet phenomenon known as Captain Kutchie's Key Lime Pie...again. With new developments in the story we had to delve deeper into this mystery, so we returned to the enigma that is Kutcharitaville.

This is N2M's 100th episode! We had our first guest in over a year, Grant "Bam Bam" Phillips, a man made in Canada, born in the USA, and perhaps the only person we know to have failed a drunken attempt at getting hitched in Vegas. He opened up to us like we were collectively Barbara Walters about his antics and exploits in nearly a decade of experience in the event production industry.

This Mentionable Mystery our minds were blown by the elusive Anguilla anguilla aka the European eel. With recent developments in the scientific community searching for the answer to "the eel question" we were eelin great about the topic. We also posed the question, "Should Collin get an eel tattoo?".

This Reddit Quest Josh solicited recordings of farts from our listeners and we found out what it sounds like when someone sings family guy backwards. More low count YouTube videos for your brain.

I didn't feel like putting in a real description AM I THE A**HOLE?!?

We thought we knew things. Turns out we're wrong about a lot. In this episode we talk about a list of things Humans thought to be facts (and in most cases still widely are) that turned out to be False.

This Mentionable Mystery focuses on the purported secret underground metro system hidden beneath Moscow known as Metro-2. After discovering the Diggers of the Underground Planet we decided to form our own group of Urban Explorers. You may need special clearance for this Mentionables and this description will self-destruct in 5 minutes.

We love some good lore and this week we've got lore galore with the start of our new series featuring folklore from around the world. We broke the bottle with some folktales from Russia, Africa, and home of the Brothers Grimm...Germany. We've got forklore fever baby and the only prescription is more N2M.

This week we found some creepy two sentence horror stories, workshopped a one million dollar idea for a haunted mansion, and fleshed out the lore for our in house cryptid the Mammofark!

It's our second Not To Mention whacky wild spookcelsior Halloween variety unspecified amount of time special! Everything you could ask for in a Halloween special, trivia, music, "would you rather" horror scenarios, a horrifying new cryptid of our own creation we dubbed the Mammofark, and a deep dive into everybody's favorite spooky cartoon, Courage The Cowardly Dog!

The October edition of LIFE magazine "The World's Scariest Places" inspired this week's episode. It's spooky time! We compiled a list of some of the scariest destinations on Earth. Some are haunted, some are dangerous, and some are just plain creepy. A plethora of places we don't ever wanna be.

One more tabletop game for the End of Summer Double Down. We unboxed and played the tabletop card game Master Word for the first time. A game where we work together to guess a "Master Word" in seven rounds given a single clue word with only Collin, our guide, to let us know if we're on the right track. Can you guess the Master Word before us!?!

Closing out the End of Summer Double Down we unboxed the first of two tabletop card games we've never played before. Kicking off back to back episodes we played Poetry for Neanderthals a card/word game involving single syllable vocabulary. This game more tough than you think!
