What happens when you anchor your faith in a Triune God of perfect love and community? Brooke Beyer answers this question in this podcast. Belief in the Trinity leads to the Christian behavior of practicing authentic relationships: fellowshipping. Listen in as Brooke explores the biblical principles revealed in Acts 2:42-47 that demonstrate how the early church connected with one another in faith.

The difficulty in teaching from one passage on the Trinity is that the word “Trinity” is not used in the entire Bible. It’s a description that Christians have used to describe the relationship of God with us in the roles of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Listen in as Jeff teaches on how knowing God fully invites us to love Him wholly and requires us to love others deeply.

As what we believe (the Bible is God’s Word to us) and how we behave (applying God’s Word) come together, we become people of truth. Jeff dives into a three-week series called 'Gospel Growth.' We look at Colossians and see that wherever the Gospel goes, the Gospel grows. Jeff reminds us to live confident and live worthy of the Gospel.

Our Pulaski campus pastor, Dave Farris takes on Colossians 3. We look at some biblical foundations for our relationships (marriage and parenting). We also look at how we as Christians have started to compartmentalize our lives and go through the motions.

This podcast is from our Kings and Chronicles Share service. We have a number of our congregation share through this open mic time, about things they have learned during our time in this series.

As we celebrate Easter we look at what took place on the road to Emmaus. We look at the disciples and the few that saw Jesus after he rose from the grave and end up asking if we have an 'Emmaus heart' or a true Easter heart?

As we begin to celebrate 'Passion Week' with Palm Sunday, Neal has us look at who Jesus really is and why we should be worshiping Him for who He is and not who we think He is.

Our last sermon in our Kings and Chronicles series, leads perfectly into 'Passion Week.' The story of all the kings of Israel is truly a tragic story, but Jesus changes all of that when He enters the scene as the one true King, which we celebrate next week on Palm Sunday.

As we begin to close out our Kings and Chronicles series we see the stories of Amon and Josiah. Jeff shows us how the Bible never loses relevance and how Josiah shows that through his reign.

As we head toward the end of our 'Kings and Chronicles' series, Jeff talks of the contrast between Hezekiah and Manasseh. We see how the father (Hezekiah) got Israel back on track and his son (Manasseh) was one of the most evil kings in the history of Israel.

Jeff wraps up the two part mini-series 'Deliverance' in this sermon from 2 Chronicles and 2 Kings. Jeff urges us to learn from Israel and that we can be set free from whatever is holding us back because of what Christ has done for us.

Darrell Cook, BCM at Virginia Tech Director, leads us on into 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles. We look at contrasting lives of Jotham and Ahaz of Judah and how we can learn from them and that they are still relevant to us years later.

Jeff walks us through more of 2 Kings as we see the last gasps of Samaria.' We look at a number of kings and how they continually push God out of the kingdom. Jeff reminds us that God is waiting for us and wanting us to return to him, and that His grace is not something to take for granted.

Virginia Tech CRU Director, Jeff Highfield leads us in our next message in our Kings and Chronicles series. We look at two different kings from 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles and see how they served God, and the outcome of how well they served.

State of the Church Sunday has become a staple for Northstar in the past few years. It gives us a chance to reflect on the previous year and look toward the future as well. Jeff walks us through our them 'Invest,' and reminds us what being a part of the 'Church' really means. Alex Kacere, our youth minister, leads us to our next sermon in our Kings and Chronicles series. We look at 1 Kings 13 and how Jehoahaz lived and reigned in Israel. Alex compares how they failed to seek after God and how they needed a savior and how that relates to us even in 2015.

Jeff finishes our mini-series on 'True Revival,' as we look at 1 Chronicles 24. We look and learn from Jehoash's example on how a revival comes about and how you should respond in the midst of revival. Jeff reminds us that you can not experience true revival without coming to Jesus, and recognizing Him not just as a great man, but as the King of kings.

As we dive into the new year we look at 1 Chronicles 23-24 and look at the concept of 'revival.' Jeff walks us through the first part of this mini series, and we look at some of the steps that lead to revival in our lives.

As we wrap our special 'December Nights' series Adam Wilson looks at what it means to wait on the Lord. Israel had waited so long that the people didn't even know what to look for anymore, because they were passively waiting instead of actively waiting.

Neal Nelson, our Associate Pastor talks about how and what the 'good news' is when it comes to Christmas. We look at the shepherds and how they took the 'good news' and shared it very quickly. Neal asks what would the world look like now if we were more like the shepherds.
