The snare of the devil is when someone has been taken captive begins to do the devil’s will. That sounds extreme and yet Scripture clearly bears this truth out. When we read through Scripture we repeatedly find ways Satan works in the world. Given the opportunity, Satan would no doubt lead believers and unbelievers alike to live and believe certain ways.

We make choices every day. Some choices really don’t matter very much. This morning I had to choose what to eat for breakfast, what clothes to wear, and which tie to put on. None of these were really life changing decisions. Other choices are very significant and can have long term affect on our lives. Do I go to college, if so where? What career do I choose? Who will I marry? Where will we live?...

A false conversion is what it sounds like. It’s when a person goes through the motions of getting saved, but doesn’t actually get saved.
