  We often create false images of God which we place our faith and trust in. These can be due to our backgrounds, our families, culture, or just because of our sinful nature. But instead, we are called to know the real God, as perfectly revealed in the person of Jesus, and give Him our full trust and faith.

God doesn’t just want part of you—He wants to be first. We say we worship God, but our time, energy, money, and joy often say otherwise. Even good things can become gods.  Jesus isn’t asking for a place in your life. He’s asking for the throne. If someone watched your life this week—who would they say your god really is?
