When it comes to forgiveness, Jesus doesn’t include a Gift Receipt - we can’t exchange it for something else or get our money back.

What if we have become so accustomed to the idea “does this fit me?” We have cashed in one gift for a better one… even with Jesus?

David finally chooses to turn to the Lord. But during this time there is an election for the King of Israel, David or Ish-Bosheth. As we look at this scripture we see many similarities with our current election season.

David is continuing to not follow God's plan for him. In 1 Samuel 30 we see his struggle and then a pivotal moment where he turns back to God.

Sometimes we have Ignorance of being in a dangerous situation but more often we are aware of the danger and do it anyway. David has done a good job of being “a man after God’s own heart” but now is a story where he is making bad choices.

Nabal & Abigail are introduced to David's story. Both react to David in very different ways. One produces anger and the other makes David a better person. Who will you choose to be like, Nabal or Abigail?

We tend to sin in ways that are blatant and obvious or in ways that are more discreet and not as noticeable. But both are sin. This message looks at the 2 caves David found himself in & encourages us to turn away from sin!

4 Significant areas we have to learn to exist in as we are waiting for and working toward the good part + 1 Samuel 18.

David & Goliath - If we are going to be Christ-like, we have to be able to see things the way He sees them!

An introduction into the series, David. David’s life is full of high highs and low lows. He is one who is extremely likable but also one who is far from perfect. His story reminds us that God is always the hero of our lives. Will we allow Him to speak to us?!

Are you the accuser or an accused? Jesus wanted to lead the accused and the accusers to repentance.

We reserve God for the gaps - the places we need God to come in and fill When there is: Pain we ask God to fill this gap with peace , doubt - direction, rejection - restoration, weakness - strength The moment we don’t have a need for God, we no longer NEED God.

We can’t  confuse the callings and the promises of God for just another phase. This message looks at 2 points on how to examine and expect the Promises of God & not just live life with God as a phase.

A back-to-school message & challenge for all of us. Kids- obey your father and mother and it will go well for you!  Parents- train up your kids in the way they should go so that when they are older, they will not depart from it.

We are so used to having tension that we don’t know what peace is TRULY like. We must depend on our Prince of Peace to provide what we can't find in the tensions of this world & life!

In this messy world we have to put our hope somewhere. Jesus is our only hope. A look at the third time Jesus interrupts history.
