Rob picks up in our Pivot series in Acts 2:14-41, Peter's first sermon on the day of Pentecost. And when he finishes speaking, 3,000 people become followers of Jesus! We'll see here how Peter needed to pivot to focus his faith, direct his devotion, and find the purpose for his personality.

Rob picks back up in our Pivot series in Acts 2:1-13. We've all waited for something or someone. We'll see how the disciples were waiting for the promise of the Holy Spirit and how they had to pivot to talk about the wonders of God with those around them.

Lead Pastor, Rob McDowell, begins our journey through the book of Acts in Acts 1:1-8. We'll see what Jesus says about the Holy Spirit, and how the Holy Spirit's primary role is to glorify God through us.

The final week in our summer series At the Movies concludes with Disney's live-action box-office hit, Aladdin .  Our Online Campus Pastor, Justin Woelk, will use movie clips from Aladdin to help illustrate what the Bible says on where and how we should find our significance. We say farewell to one of our beloved pastors, Tray Tankersley, who has ministered to thousands of people over these past fifteen years here at North Metro. We're back At the Movies with the miniseries centered around basketball star Michael Jordan called The Last Dance. We will look at a very special bond and relationship Michael Jordan formed as an older brother to a younger player and we will see how that reflects a similar relationship between Paul and Timothy in the New Testament.

Peanut Butter Falcon tells a powerful and heartfelt story of two unlikely characters becoming the best of companions in the most unlikely way. Using Mark 2:1-12 and the film, Lead Pastor Rob McDowell shares a timely message about friendship. The kind of friendship that will do anything for each other as Jesus did for us.

In week five of our At The Movies series, we are looking at the movie Avengers: Infinity War to illustrate the sacrifice required for true victory.

In week four of our series, "At the Movies" we are looking at the film "Crazy Rich Asians" to illustrate the sister of racism, classism. Which - if we are truly living in the imago dei (image of God) should not be our way of viewing the world around us. 

In week three of our "At the Movies" series, our online pastor, Justin Woelk, uses the film "The Sandlot" to illustrate the art of inclusion and just how powerful making others feel included can be. 

In week two of our At The Movies series, Rob discusses racial reconciliation.

For our first week of At The Movies, we are featuring the film "A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood" about the life of Mr. Rogers and the art of forgiveness.

In the final message in the series, "Jesus Is Better," we hear how we can be encouraged that God is truly working all things together for our good. Even when we can't see how all these things would work together, God is making beauty from ashes. 

"Speak Lord, your servant is listening."   What's your posture toward God like? Is your heart prepared to hear our Heavenly Father when He wants to speak?

In week 17 of Jesus is Better, our Student Pastor, Matt Johnston, talks about the journey of Hebrews and the way we can model our lives after the prophets. 

In week three of our series on Anxiety, Rob talks about the hidden ways anxiety can creep up in our lives and how we can combat fear with gratitude. Not only combat fear, but develop a whole new level of happiness!

In week two of The Invisible Enemy, Rob talks about how we can pray scripture over our lives in a practical way.

We all struggle with worry or fear occasionally. But sometimes, anxiety grips us so tightly that we feel as though we are a prisoner in our own mind. In this new series, Rob talks to us about how we can tackle anxiety with God's help!

In this year's Easter Message, we illustrate the amazing grace of Jesus through the story of Mary Magdelene. 

Week 16 of Jesus is Better falls on Palm Sunday and Rob is diving into Matthew - when Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey in the most humble way like only the true King of Kings can.

In week 15 of Jesus is Better, Rob discusses why Discipline is something that God, as a loving Father, does to stamp us with his ownership as daughters and sons, and His love. Also, discipline doesn't mean what we think it means.

In week 14 of our series, Jesus is Better, pastor Tray talks about all of the ways in which we can depend on the everlasting promise of Jesus in the midst of uncertain times & trials.

The blood of lamb isn't sufficient to liberate us. So Jesus comes as the passover lamb & as the sinless man He was, He freed us from the clutches of sin... Because He is better than the sacrificial system. He is better than the old covenant. He is better than any pleasure of the world. He is better than anything we could ever know. Jesus is Better.

In week 12 of "Jesus is Better," Rob encourages us of our need to live in community. Hebrews challenges us to spur one another on toward Jesus & being strong in our Godly relationships. We can be stronger when we're together!  God has proven Himself faithful. He is making good on His promises. This is a hope we can cling to.
