As the busyness of our world continues to beckon us into more busyness, the still small voice of our Heavenly Father continually calls us to commune with Him and others. This week Rob talks about our need to get alone with God in silence and solitude.

Lead Pastor, Rob McDowell, takes time to look back in the 2020/2021 ministry year to celebrate all the Lord did and looks ahead to what He believes the Lord is calling North Metro Church to in 2021/2022. This Sunday's message cast vision into what could be and challenges the church body to be all in.

NMC's Online Campus Pastor, Justin Woelk, unpacks the final piece of baggage in our summer series, pride. We'll look at two New Testament Books to see how the Apostle Paul set his pride aside after encountering Jesus and how that changed everything. 

NMC Groups Pastor Daniel Hicks unpacks the baggage that comes along with unforgiveness. Reading from Matthew 18, we can find great freedom for ourselves once we decide to extend forgiveness to those that might have hurt us. 

Rob unpacks another piece of baggage we carry around, jealously. We'll look at the story of Joseph and his brothers in Genesis 37 and end with the reminder to confess our jealously to God and remember what we have in Jesus. 

Rob kicks off our summer teaching series, Summer Baggage, by looking at the fears we carry and trading those for the peace and protection we receive from the Lord.

Lead Pastor, Rob McDowell, teaches from the book of Nehemiah, where we see the idea of investing where invested. Not only did Nehemiah invest, but he also cast vision to his people to join him in making the same investment. Will you invest where invested? 

Lead pastor Rob McDowell discusses and celebrates the high calling of fatherhood and that leaving a lasting legacy as a dad is crucial. A Godly father models God as father.  

Guest teacher, Pastor Damian Boyd, brings a powerfully timely message about God and His relationship to humanity. Seen in Genesis 1:27, we're beautifully made in the image of God "the Imago Dei," and with that comes a profound responsibility to love others in the same way their Creator does. We are image bearers. 

How do you really engage with God? Is He listening? Is there a step-by-step guide? Guest teacher, Kenn Kington, shares with us in week 2 of our Mixtape series what he's learned over the years about communicating with our Heavenly Father. When we choose to listen and engage, God promises eternal perspective, peace in the middle, and the power to walk through what's ahead.

Groups Pastor, Daniel Hicks, kicks off our Mixtape series with his favorite Scripture, found in Luke 15. We'll look at The Parable of the Lost Son to observe God's character and remind ourselves to continue running to the Father.

NMC's Discipleship Pastor, Matt Johnston, wraps up our teaching series, Pivot, looking back at the major themes we found within the Book of Acts and looking forward to what that means for the Church today.

Lead Pastor, Rob McDowell, covers the final two chapters in the Book of Acts, 27-28. Getting into Paul's sailing journey to Rome, we'll look at what happens when you find yourself in the middle of the storm, what voices we should be listening to, and where we should be setting our anchors. 

Lead Pastor, Rob McDowell, is joined by his wife, Denise, for a Mother's Day message taught from 2 Chronicles 20. Anyone with a sphere of influence can benefit from looking at Jehoshaphat's example of leadership–turning to God in every battle.

Groups Pastor Daniel Hicks picks up the speed in our Pivot teaching series recapping Acts 22-26. As we look at Paul's trials, we'll find a common thread, obedience, out of love and honor for God. Then we'll ask the question: What does taking a step of obedience look like for you?

Rob begins in Acts 22 and visits many books of the New Testament for support as we ask the question: What kind of people does Jesus pursue and use? We'll be reminded here that Jesus didn't come to cancel people. He came to redeem them.

Rob gets back into our Pivot series opening to Acts 21. We'll see how Paul's Holy Spirit convictions were contagious and talk about what it looks like to hold on to our convictions today.

Lead Pastor, Rob McDowell, kicks off Season 3 of our Pivot series by taking a look at the final years of the Apostle Paul's ministry in Acts chapter 20. Do you live with the end in mind? What do you want to be remembered for? May Paul's Kingdom mindset be an encouragement to us to live with intentionality, displaying the love of Christ to those around us.

We're beginning Holy Week together with a Palm Sunday message from our Online Campus Pastor, Justin Woelk. We'll sit in the events that happened on Palm Sunday and look back to Old Testament truths to fully understand where the culmination of history and expectations were beginning to meet. 

NMC's Discipleship Pastor, Matt Johnston, wraps up Season 2 of Pivot in Acts 19:21-41, observing Paul's final confrontation in the city of Ephesus. As we work our way through the events described in the text, we'll see how the Way of Jesus comes into conflict with the most popular and widespread religion of the day...and we will see which one lasts and who is ultimately victorious.

Rob continues in Acts 19 as we follow Paul's missionary journey. We'll come across a few "say what?!" moments and focus in on what the real miracles here are. 

Rob picks back up in our Pivot series, opening to Acts 18, where the Apostle Paul travels to Corinth and records who he meets. Specifically, we will focus on two people, Aquila and his wife, Priscilla, and how God uses the ordinary to accomplish the extraordinary.

The author of After Amen, and friend of North Metro Church, Rusty George, closes out the series breaking down John 2:1-11. We'll be reminded that God is faithful not just while we wait, but while we work. 

Groups Pastor, Daniel Hicks, continues in our After Amen series looking at how we respond when our prayers aren't being answered the way we want. We'll look at various Scriptures to see the way we should respond is through remembering. Remembering who God is and what He has done. 

Guest teacher, Damian Boyd, joins us to pickup in our After Amen series by looking at the life of Joseph (Genesis 37-50). We'll see through Joseph's story that the Lord was with him through every hardship, and how, through it all, he thrived and relied on God.
