I took the two samples and slowed them both down in Blocswave on the iPad. I liked how the time stretch algorithm created faint melodies out of the digital artefacts and this was then fed through Moebius Lab patch that mushed up the signal further. I used an iPhone app, Blocs Wave for this project. I cobbled together a 4 part guitar and drum loop and played it back at 20, 40, 80 and 120 pm and 440bpm (apparently).
