Easter with NewStory Church at Los Angeles Trade Technical-College on Sunday, April 9th, 2023 In the gospel of John, Jesus says that when he is lifted up, he will draw all people to himself. And that's exactly what we did at LATTC; we lifted up the name above all names, the mighty name of King Jesus!

Why is Good Friday good? Because Jesus' death destroyed the power of sin.  Jesus is the founder of our faith. Jesus is the perfecter of our faith. Jesus endured the cross. Jesus had joy as He went to the cross. Jesus sits at the right hand of the throne of God.

Lent is a season when the Church gathers to reflect on the lavish love of God, specifically demonstrated during the crucifixion of his only son. There at the Cross, Jesus offered these final words: Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!
