The government has announced a mammoth fuel support package costed at over half a billion euro after six days of protests against fuel costs. Speaking to Anton to discuss these supports was Sean Canney Minister of State at the Department of Transport and Independent TD for Galway East.

Sinn Féin is to table a motion of no confidence in the Government over its handling of the fuel protests. Joining Anton this morning to explain why was Pearse Doherty Sinn Fein TD for Donegal and the party’s Spokesperson on Finance. 

As fuel disruption begins to ease and depots return to operation, how long will it take for normal service to resume? Speaking to Anton this morning was Kevin McPartlan, Fuels For Ireland CEO.

The Israel Defence Forces last night announced that it began striking Hezbollah launch sites in Lebanon.
