Moses, a great hero of the faith, was not the man for the job. Or, at least, that's what he thought. Moses was plagued by insecurity, and had no problem letting God know at every opportunity that he was not the right man for the job. But God simply reminded him, "I will be with you."

Jesus encounters a man under the influence of thousands of demons. Jesus sets the man free. The man is grateful and wants to go with Jesus. Jesus says no. Wait... why would he say no? In this case, it wasn't a "no" as much as it was an invitation to his calling.

It's time to remember the basics about prayer. The fact is, we're not supposed to be attempting to imitate the eloquent prayer warriors of the world when we talk to God. Your Heavenly Father simply wants to hear from his child. So talk to Him about what is important to you!

It's probably safe to say that Jesus was having a particularly rough day when he retreated to the Garden of Gethsemane. And of course, the disciples who went with him had one job, but they couldn't keep their eyes open. Pastor Justin takes this opportunity to remind us where our strength really comes from.

God doesn’t necessarily see temptation as a bad thing. In fact, he sees it the same as a “trial” or a “test”. But would he ever actually lead us into temptation?
