We are starting a brand new 8 week series called Experiencing God! We are going to learn how to have an interactive, growing relationship with God. You can know God’s will for your life, and we want to show you how that’s possible.

This week we finished up our Slowing Down series with Pastor Ben teaching us what the Sabbath is and how we can partake of the rest God offers us each week. We’ll take a look at our tendency to over-do it, and zero in on an ancient spiritual practice instituted by God to guard us from burning out.

This Sunday we were blessed by the reading of Matthew 23 in order that we may learn how to be authentic in our journey with Christ. Through the reading of the “7 Woes to The Scribes and Pharisees” we learned how easy it is for us to fall into a hypocritical mindset that lacks Godly authenticity. May we focus our hearts and minds on becoming prayerfully genuine so that we can be more like Christ.

This Sunday, Aaron lead us in learning about the mindset that we need to have amidst our suffering. The path to the Kingdom of God is a path of suffering, we got a glimpse of David's and Jesus' heart in suffering in Psalm 22.
