Many people have had bad experiences with church. Surely, that is not what God intended for church to be like! In this message, we’re going to turn to His Word to find out what He looks for in a church. If things were happening GOD’S WAY instead of man’s, what would that look like? As the Lord speaks to us, let’s determine to be the church that God wants us to be!

This is the final message in the series on “Renewal”. We’re going to see that, if God has been working IN your life to bring renewal, He’s also going to begin working THROUGH your life. Ask the Lord to open up your heart and mind to what He has to say to you in His Word.

God desires to work in our lives, but many times there things that get in the way. There are some things that typically block God’s work in our lives. This message is part 2 of “Common Barriers to Spiritual Renewal”.

In the previous message in this series, we learned that in order for us to experience renewal in our lives, we need to allow Christ to “search our hearts” to see if there is anything that would get in the way of His work in our lives. Here, we’re going to look at some of the things that commonly interfere with God working mightily in our lives.

This is an exciting time in the life of our church family. There’s a sense that God is about to move in a mighty way. This is a special message called “Preparing for God to Move”. What needs to be happening in our hearts to prepare us for what God has in store for us?

This is the second message in the "Renewal" series about experiencing a fresh movement of God in your life. Turn to Isaiah 6 in the Old Testament as we learn about the important step of “Searching Your Heart” in your walk with God.

God is at work in this world, but so many times, our lives have gotten far from Him. In this series, we’re going to think about some of the things that the Lord may want to do in our lives to bring renewal in our relationship with Him.

This is the final message in the series on the 10 Commandments (Exodus 20) called “God’s Top Ten”. What a great time to study the “10th Commandment: You Shall Not Covet” after we’ve just celebrated a holiday that many times can be focused more on materialistic desires than a hunger for God. Maybe God wants to challenge us to keep our focus on Him as we begin a new year.

Most Americans admit that they tell at least 2-3 lies per day. Lying has just become a way of life for us! We’re going to see that God’s ways are different than our ways as we study the 9th Commandment where God says, “You shall not lie.” Turn to Exodus 20: 16 and follow along as we study God’s Word together.

Continuing the series on the Ten Commandments, called “God’s Top Ten,” we study the 8th Commandment and learn that God says, “You shall not steal.”

Money trouble is something we can all appreciate. What does God's Word have to say about this very practical issue?

What does God expect of us in the political arena? Does following Jesus affect the way we vote?

Immorality is so common in our culture today that it almost seems like a “normal” part of life. God’s Word, though, tells us that God has designed intimacy between a man and a woman to be experienced only in a lifelong, marriage commitment. Turn with us to Exodus 20: 14 as we study the 7th of the 10 Commandments, “You shall not commit adultery.”

When asked about their relationship with God, many people say, “I try to live by the 10 Commandments.” One of the most common that people cite is the 6th Commandment as people say, “I’ve never killed anyone.” Today, we want to look at this commandment, see how important it is to God, and see how good a job we’ve done at honoring it.

Even though relationships can be one of the biggest challenges in our lives, they can also bring about some of the greatest blessings when we approach them God’s way. The Lord wants to teach us how to have healthy relationships with others. That will be our focus for the rest of our study on the Ten Commandments.
