The weekend of this message, New Hope was celebrating 10 years of worship as a church family! In light of that milestone, Pastor Robbie shared a special message called “The Story of New Hope”. God started this church 10 years ago. Why? What kind of church did God have in mind for us to be? We need to think about that today so we can stay focused on His will for our church as we look to the future!

This message is the last in the series “The 11th Commandment” where Jesus challenges us to love one another the way He loves us. In order to understand that better, we’ve been studying what some have called the “one anothers” of Scripture. In this message, we learn that God teaches us to “Submit to One Another” if we truly want to show love to one another.

Words can bless, and words can hurt. The Bible says that, if we are truly going to show love to others, we need to be careful that we do not use our mouth to hurt them. Is that something you struggle with? To some extent, we all do. Let the Lord speak to your heart about making sure that the words that come out of your mouth do not harm other people.
