Julie Coleman finishes up our series on Colossians by taking a look at the book of Philemon. Listen as she shares how Paul applied the theme of being centered and complete in Christ to the lives of Philemon and Onesimus and how that same instruction is important for the church today.

In this last chapter Paul provides his final instructions to the Colossians. Listen as Pastor David Bashore reveals Paul’s message concerning prayer, glorifying God in all things and representing Christ to the world.

How do we stay unified as believers? In Colossae the things that were being advocated by the false teachers were drawing people away from Christ. Paul reminded them to keep their minds on what God had promised. Rules give us a sense of security and structure. The Colossians were allowing themselves to be judged by adhering to rules and laws other than Christ. Steve Coleman uses Paul’s teaching to provide areas for us to evaluate where we too may be adding to the teaching of Christ.
