The book of Judges begins with Jesus arriving on the scene, the ultimate “Deliverer” (Judges 2:1). The entire book points to the need for a more perfect deliverer—one who will rescue in a permanent fashion.

The gospel overflows into our lives, causing us to rejoice in the LORD, making us gracious, kind people, and moving us toward peace. God is going to give us incredible, life-changing perspective shifts that will challenge us and encourage us.(Philippians 4:4-7)

God’s amazing patience ensures judgment comes slowly, but His righteousness guarantees judgment surely comes!
