Romans 7:24-25 As frustrating and painful as the present struggle with sin is, our predicament on earth is temporary and is nothing compared with the eternal glory waiting for us in Heaven!

Romans 7:8-13 Until people see sin for what it is, they will not see the need of salvation. God must expose it.

Colossians 3:1-17 Because of what Christ has done, we can change sinful patterns by relying on the Holy Spirit and not on our own effort!

Romans 7:8-13 Christians still need exposure to God’s righteous standards so we can see more clearly the sin in our lives and confess it in order to experience the full blessing that belongs to us as His children.

Romans 7:7 – 8 The ultimate purpose of the Law is to drive us to faith in Jesus. He alone fulfilled the demands of the Law on behalf of those who trust in His righteousness instead of their own.

Romans 7:1-6 God releases us from our bondage to sin so that we will serve Him.

Romans 6:23 Eternal life is a free gift, not a reward for services rendered (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Romans 6:18-22 Although the inner person of a believer has been transformed into the likeness of Christ, the outer person, represented by the flesh, is still subject to the defilement of sin.

Romans 6:15-17 The new freedom we have in Jesus is not a lack of restraint. It is a deliverance from the very thing that keeps you from becoming what God intends you to be.

1 Thessalonians 1:1-10 A life well lived imitates Jesus in your affliction!

Romans 6:12-14 The longer we walk with Jesus, the more we realize the need to “die daily.” But there is no later step without the first step, a determination to prefer Jesus over sin.

Romans 6:8-11 Knowledge activates decisions…what you believe about God determines what you do next.

Philippians 4 13) When God redeems an individual, He begins to restore the original image of God, creating a “new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness”

Romans 6:5-7 Since the old has passed away, then live out that reality in your life. Walk that way!

Romans 6:3-4 As sin characterized your old life, righteousness now characterizes your new life!

Romans 6:1-4 Christ’s death for sin becomes our death to sin.

Luke 24:13-33 The Emmaus Road Story – the “Power of God” intervenes when the situation seems the darkest!

I Corinthians 5:7-8 “For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast…”

Ephesians 1:18-19 Paul did not pray for power to be given to believers; he prayed that believers would gain awareness of what they already possess. Until we comprehend who we truly are in Jesus, it is hard to live a fulfilling life.

Ephesians 4. Purpose: To help Christians, who are living with a mindset of brokenness and perpetuating a cycle of hurt in their relationships, change the cycle, and to encourage mature believers to be patient with them as they work on that change.

Romans 5:18-21 God lavishes His grace upon us beyond all measure. His grace exceeds immeasurably the extent of human sin.

Romans 5:14-17 Adam and Eve sinned because they expected to become like God. Their sin action produced the opposite result; they became more unlike Him.

Romans 5:8-14 For believers Christ has removed the fear of death! We are saved permanently by Jesus from spiritual and eternal death; physical death ushers us into His presence. (Hebrews 2:14-15)

Romans 5:3-8 Even while we are still hopelessly entangled in sin, the God who hates everything about sin loves the sinner!

Romans 5:1-2 The Christian has no reason to fear the future and every reason to celebrate it because we have the secure hope that our ultimate destiny is to share in the very glory of God!
