Nerds of Legend

Episode 32: We return to the bleak future of the Warhammer 40k, and rise of the prophet of Gork and Mork, servant of the Great Green, Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka. Told through the eyes of the continually resurrected Markari, tells the tale of a lowly Ork from the Goff Clan becoming the Warlord of Warlords one of the greatest threats to mankind out side of the Warp. 

Episode 16: A few of our party go on a side quest.

Episode 31: We take a look at Celtic Folklore with the intention of discussion a basic background of the legends. We quickly discover that there isn't one and so we begin a journey that will be several episodes over the course of this year delving deeper into these eclectic tales. 

Episode 15: Still afflicted by the singing madness and trapped in the firefly cellar, the group is left with one last option, Fight.  

Episode 30: We delve into this sci fi classic written that takes an unusual quartet to the surface of a very unusual world. The Ringworld is exactly what it sound like a ring around a sun of unimaginable size, that must house an amazingly advanced population. Instead the team of investigators crash, get lost, and piss off the natives. Join us as we discuss this wild ride that has been a foundation...

Episode 14: Still trapped in the Firefly Cellar our party falls deeper into the singing madness. Barely able to hold it together they try to find a solution, but the other residents of the Firefly Cellar are not so lucky. 

Episode 29: As Christmas rapidly approaches we take time to share some of our holiday traditions. However in true Nerds of Legends fashion we also take a look at some of the more unique traditions from around the world. 

Episode 13 Our party returns to Candlekeep and learns that they must find a new place to stay. They are offered lodging in the Firefly Cellar, and shocking to no one things are not what it seems. Trapped and suffering what appears to be a centuries old curse, our party set to breaking this curse or be trapped forever. 

Episode 28 - We journey into one of the most famous cities in the world, London, and follow the freshly graduated Peter Grant. A rookie police who dreams of being a detective, and lives in fear of paperwork. That is until he interviews a suspect who turns out to be a ghost, and from there things just get weirder. 

Episode 12: In search of our lost companion our team enters into the mine. Fighting past oozing monstrosities and a number of crab-bugs, our party locates our lost comrade. Join us as the adventure continues.  

Episode 27: We take a brief look at the Victorian Tradition of keeping it spooky during the holidays. We discuss several popular stories and the fact that endings were less than happy in the original tale. 

Episode 11. Still in Vermillion and assailed by bugcrabs, our heroes retreat to the mayors mansion. One of our party goes missing. 

Episode 27. We discuss book one of the Iron Druid series by Kevin Hearne. Atticus O'Sullivan is the last druid, and protects Tempe Arizona from all sorts of evil.   Join us as we discuss this Celtic lore soaked urban fantasy. 

Episode 26: The Cast of OriginalGM joins us again and this time it is for and adventure through a haunted mansion. We travel back in time to the mid eighties and take on the role of 11 year olds braving the night in the the spookiest house in the neighborhood. Episode 10: The group enters vermillion and were haunted by a mysterious creature that our group have dubbed bugcrabs.  

Episode 25 This week we tackle the massive first book of the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. Following the tragic journey of the prodigy Kvothe from traveling performer to homeless to the all so familiar modern day struggle of paying tuition (which we all identify with). Episode 9: In search of information about the mining town of Vermeillon, and what happened to the platinum mine. The party struggles to buy a horse. 

Episode 24: Author Maria V Snyder joins us to talk about Poison... Study, what's next for Yelena, Valek, Ari and Jenco, and more. 

Episode 8: After being thrust into the Shadowfell and attacked by undead. Our Party is attacked by a wight and two gargoyles. Stretched thin already our party must fight to survive.  

Episode 23: This week we jump back into science fiction, and this time we join turn to one of the founding fathers of sci-fi, Isaac Asimov. Foundations is is not only a tale the far flung future of humanity, but is also considered a cornerstone of modern day science fiction. 

Episode 5: Returning to Baldur's Gate in search of bookmonsters, and instead our trio find themselves in a ludicrously poorly planned scheme by some lost individuals looking for a leader.  

Episode 7: Our Adventurers stumble onto the Secret Society of the Scarlet Sash. Whom use the hunting lodge as a base of operations and are completely ok with the dilapidated state of the lodge. Following the pitiful wails of a weak ghost the party is pulled into something much more sinister.

Episode 22. We return to vampires, but instead of focusing on vampire tales from history, we focus on modern day legends. The depictions of vampires in recent literature, movies and more. 

Episode 6: First a troll, now an undead horseman ... but not everything is as it seems. We stumble across a manor that's overrun with creepiness and maybe ghosts? Only time will tell. 

Episode 21. Join us for our first listener recommendation, and it was a damn good one. Join us as we discuss chromaturgy and those that wield the colors of the spectrum.
