A local legend in Versailles, Indiana tells the story of a wolf man who lived in a cave and hung out with wolves. The story may be true or it may not. When I was a kid, my dad told me a crazy story about something that happened to him when he was just a boy back in Arkansas. Being a kid, I took his word for law. Moss Mountain sits across the Arkansas River from an island that is today called beaverdam island. Back in 1819, when the first Europeans were exploring the area, something attacked them, tearing them apart. Was it a band of bigfoot? There have been several recent reports of dogman in that area.
