Neil Rogers Show

A caller tells Uncle Neil that when he went to a Borders to buy the Best of CD's, and the clerk says she hates Neil.  Neil wonders why the regular callers aren't calling, but Paul Harvey Jr. does

Last 2 hours of Neil's WIOD show.  The Trends are in and don't look good, Neil starts digging through Birch for some good news.  At the last appearance Neil did, WIOD brought only 20 pictures for Neil to sign, and nothing for Rick and Suds, good thing Jeff came through with some paper plates for them to sign for the fans.  Rick drops in to discuss the ratings.

Neil responds to a Herald editorial and more bilingual crap. Glen is out with a cold. Stick around after the 30 or so minutes of Neil. Mark Moseley is filling in for Al Rantel on WNWS and tells the story of how Neil got the "Hallandale Vice" bit. He don't sound too happy to me. Neil and Mark made up on a later date.

Howard Dean is dropping out of the race. Neil predicts John Kerry as the next president. Who is or was the hottest female celebrity of all time?

Neil will not take calls today, so lots of bedtime stories. Bush is beating the war drum. A sex museum opens in NY City. Boca will have a new CD out soon. Plus a DeFo story.

Another Monday on WQAM and Neil is not happy.  The Dolphins had a bad game yesterday.  Bill and Monica, Monica and Bill.... They are doing a drawing for Neil's Panther tickets and parking pass for a game when he will be out of town, stay tuned to see who wins.  Rimmer calls about the NHL Waiver Draft.  Tomorrow night Neil has an appearance at Pizza Loft.  Boca shows up to...

Seems like all the callers to Neil want to talk about is 2 Live Crew.  The lawyer that Neil will not speak about was on the Phil Donahue Show. It looks like we are losing our Constitutional Rights.

Neil Rogers apologizes to everyone for everything. The Book came out and WINZ kicked ass, Neil goes over the rating hour by hour. A great show for the radio insiders out there.

POLL: Which of these applies to you? (Election question)

Neil has tested the phones and they work, sort of. The poll is "What's your take on the TV show Smallville?". The big Noon to 1 hour is all Moe bits.

A Neil Rogers Friday on WQAM. Panthers lost last night in the new arena. Jorge may get his bonus, except the check was made out to Gary Rodriguez, Gary sounds really Cuban to me.  Panther and hockey talk, cause Neil likes it. A weak call from the Dingo Lady, and when will the show be over on WAMI?

More 2 Live Crew and Sheriff Nick today on the Neil Rogers show on WIOD.  Paul (chronic) Harvey, Jr. was on Stan's show last night, and Neil gets reports from the callers.  Stan Major calls to defend himself, and the chronics keep calling.  Greg Budell may be starting at WAXY on Monday, and more radio reports and rumors.

After months of Neil having fun and games on the air he shows the Dade County Commission that he can still rally his fans to act on an issue. Neil stirs things up by urging us to call the commissioners who voted to allow for repeal Dade's English-only law, which mandates the county to conduct business in English.  Harvey Ruvin quickly calls in to withdraw his support after a torrent of phone...

Will Neil take any calls? Are the phones fixed? The trends are out. How did Jorge do? Hank had a good trend, but Moe did not. Lots of bedtime stories.

Another day for Neil and Jorge on Sportshole Radio WQAM. The crack promotions department has set up an appearance at Pizza Loft, and Neil finds out when he sees the press release.  Sandy Payton inherits most of the late Ann Bishop's estate, Neil is still out of good cigars, he will not play the Jim Leyland press conference and just cranks and chronics on the phones.

Neil and Gilbert will be making an appearance at the Miracles game, a Neil billboard, and big changes coming to WFTL.

Neil discusses the New York Times Magazine article "Can Miami Save Itself...?" He starts off the show being serious, but then Glen starts bringing in the "Numbers". Neil got a 9, and Stan Major spends most of the 2 - 3 on Neil's show. Rick and Suds claim that Glen "The Bird" Hill had lunch with Lee Fowler over the weekend. The WINZ management thinks that Geoff Charles will be stiff competition for...
