Needless to Say...

After a much-needed week off, the guys regroup to discuss toddler thongs, toilet training, questionable chicken noises, comedian Mark Normand, movies that started our sexual awakening, and an emotional family reunion. And that all happened before Dave finished talking about his week. 

This week, set your speakers to "chaos." Dave's beloved Raeann is back on the mic, and she's joined by Bermuda native/local sex therapist, Kejon. After four weeks in review (and one life in review) the six of them dive deep into a cerebral game of "Would You Rather...?" If you didn't think you knew Dave before, tune in and get comfortable. You'll never view Lizzo the same way again. 

Dave is away... again! But the remaining three guys manage to overcome such a hefty loss by discussing bad customers, worse coworkers, mysterious Hyundai repairs, and Bob Odenkirk's alleged foot fetish. Yeah, that's a lot for two hours, but once Craig finishes talking about his week, the time just flies by.  

It's Matt's birthday! And the guys celebrate in their usual style. Brad mocks Craig's prior drunkenness by being drunk himself. Dave channels Craig by spotting UFOs. Craig channels Craig by repeating another work story. And Matt realizes he hates being roasted. Like, a lot. 

Alright, let's get one thing out of the way. The episode title ISN'T what you think it is. But, since Craig spent most of the episode with alcohol poisoning, the guys had to improvise. The guys celebrate their 250th episode with high style and drunk charm. Brad starts a high school fight. Dave does IKEA in reverse. Matt's seating choice is nuts. And Craig lures our children to his backyard. Also, the guys reflect on things that went wrong during the first 249 and bring up Tom Selleck for an unprecedented fourth episode. 

This week the guys discuss how Matt and Dave dealt with their kids' colorful vocabularies, how Craig pretended to not be a huge boy band fan, and how quickly a pool party can turn into an orgy of exposure. 

It's another July 4 in Rhode Island, and the guys could have simply shared some more rants about the holiday. But this time they brought in social media guru Joey B (and new friend Nasty Nate) to add some southern charm to the proceedings. The results? Well, let's just say Tom Selleck isn't pleased... 

Dave was sick with the chlorine flu. Craig got his first period. Brad's body is reclaiming itself. Matt may have contact sepsis. And they all had opinions on whether they'd prefer intimate contact with Elizabeth Olsen or Tom Selleck. (Check the cover art for a spoiler.)

Brad is down to one good leg. Craig makes a bold move to steal his friend's wife. Matt mentors a bright young worker. Dave wipes himself with a company-branded shirt. And Fetish Pee John sits in to make sense of it all. To newcomers, this doesn't add up. To regulars, it's another typical week of Needless to Say...

No matter how hard they fight it, the guys simply can't shake the fact that bathroom issues make up a good ... ahem ... chunk of their free time. So, this week they lean into it. Sure, they also discuss summer movies, great speeches, and even a little bit of "Obi-Wan Kenobi." But make no mistake, this one is pretty gross. And it's pretty damn funny, too.

It's Dave's birthday! So the other three guys pretended to ignore that meaningless event by discussing anything more interesting. Brad's zero luck Zoom skills? Check. Matt's smoky skank of a customer? Check. Craig's useless U-Haul neighbors? Check. THEN, they roasted him. Focused, it's not. Funny? Definitely. 

This week, the guys welcomed their buddy Corey (and welcomed back Raeann) to take a deep dive into nothing at all. Whether it's Craig playing designated driver, Dave getting a designated divorce lawyer, or Matt designating EVERYONE for assignment, this one covers a lot of bases. Then they learn that Corey is better than all of them, in every possible way. 

Dave had an existential crisis. Craig mocked a man in peril. Matt needed an exorcist to help his child. And Brad wants to fight his neighbor's chickens. Then they all take a few minutes to fantasize about being replacement rock stars. So, obviously, they named it "Creamy Italian" ...

The guys are known for their subtlety, which is why they chose this name for the episode. It makes sense, though, since they carved out a conversation about Matt's lack of grace, Dave's lack of motor skills, Brad's lack of decent neighbors, and Craig's lack of self-awareness about his addiction to technology...

This week, the guys celebrate Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day by discussing trash. Trailer trash, TV wife trash, Rhode Island club trash, and adults who treat children like trash. Also, Craig uses a big word, Matt invents a new word, and Brad mispronounces an easy word. This episode has something for everyone... even those who identify as trash.

This week, the guys decided to fly without a parachute, tossing aside the outline for a lighthearted discussion of how we bludgeoned our friends with BB guns, logs, rocks, open-field tackles, and homemade zip lines. Also, they realize Craig is making his iPhone dumber, Criss Angel has no place at the NFL Draft, and Brach's shouldn't be making taco-flavored jelly beans. 

Dave is missing! But if you have an aerial view of Rhode Island, it won't take long to find him happily marinating in tainted chlorine. While he was "bonding with his kids" from the comforts of his new hot tub, Brad, Matt and Craig soldiered on, discussing things like Portuguese stone masonry, overpriced comedy, random drug testing, and synthetic fetish pee.  Yeah, we may all need a chlorine bath...

For years, the guys have made bathroom humor a part of the show. But they've always tried to be better. This week, they stopped trying. Once again, when they thought the tape stopped rolling, the guys had a side conversation about the worst parts of poop. And it turned out WAY better than what they had planned in the first place. So, lower your expectations, ease into it, and answer nature's call....

This week, the guys go back to the skull. And it unearthed some stories they may not have been ready to handle. Weird sex, moist jousting, doggy diazepam, and -- ahem -- "questionable" roommates, it's all in the agenda. (Hint: The name of the episode has to do with 3 of the 4 things mentioned above.)

Bold claim -- this is the funniest episode the guys have done in months. From Bruce Willis to Chris Rock to "Everest" to a litany of "what if?" scenarios, nothing is off the table this time around. And to top it off, Dave is now known as "Blachem." So call him that whenever you can. 

One week after an episode that's better left in the rear view, the guys look back at events that probably should have come with apologies. Then, a full 48 hours before Will Smith couldn't handle Chris Rock, they revisited one of their favorite topics -- the self-appointed joke police.  (The alopecia discussion will come soon... that's a promise.)  

For nearly five years, the guys of NTS have claimed "nothing is off limits." And they've occasionally danced around touchy subjects in the name of humor. But this week, they may have finally crossed those lines. In fact, the conversation got so dark, that they had to skip all of the other topics they had planned. It's a short episode, and when you hear the last 20 minutes, you'll know why.  Please...

The guys close out their episode takeovers with Dave... the show's classiest act. He may not be a felon, or a good husband, or even a passable mammal. But that still puts him light years ahead of the other three. So, for his episode, the guys honor his wishes and get into some introspection and self-awareness. If that's not your thing there's also penis jokes and bad friendship. 

It's the third week of our episode takeovers, and it's Brad's turn to control the narrative. Except that this is Needless to Say, so the other guys talk a lot more than the man of the hour. Still, they all manage to share their thoughts  on listener emails, "what if?" scenarios, porn, and memory foam road hazards.
