Warning: Being preoccupied by being known as a person of character is a sure way to sabotage your pursuit of character.

What's going to take you out? If you do something to sabotage your life, your relationships, your goals, or your future, how is that most likely to go down? This week we talked about the most vulnerable part of our character and the subsequent connection to our future.

This weekend we finished our conversation about sexuality by dealing with the biggest elephant of all - sexual addiction and pornography. As parents our kids need us to help them with this one. As addicts we need new resources and perspectives. All of us need a plan because when it comes to pornography, haphazard is an unlikely strategy.

Waiting is also central to the Christmas narratives, so it's a perfect time to talk about a discipline that we mostly loath.
