In the final week of the series, Adam digs into fear.  To what extent is the presence of fear a vice and to what extent is the presence of fear a virtue? When is fear a bad thing, and when is it a good thing? What if the call to "fear not" is intentionally and inextricably linked to the call to be a servant of God and others?

In the second week of The Humble King series, Adam spends more time in Isaiah and the songs of the suffering servant.  What if it's not about your job or your role in life but about how you show up? 

What if looking at one of Jesus' favorite portions of the Hebrew Bible can help us better understand him and what it means to be his apprentice? What happens when we view God through Jesus's eyes? In the first week of The Humble King series, Adam spends time in Isaiah 40 to help explore these questions.

This week Adam continues The Truth is in the Tension series by talking about texts that make him squirm. Romans, 1 Timothy, and 1 Peter all contain passages that speak to how we interact with authority.  Who do we pray for first?  What if we committed to praying first for our local, state, national, and international leaders regularly? 

How do we hold in tension my right to an opinion with your right to an opinion? How do we stop into God's desire for us to have influence while not stepping on others? What if this is about control via unwanted advice? Adam looks at these questions and more as he continues talking about The Truth is in the Tension.

This week, Justin moderates a discussion with Rob and Nathan by bringing in questions from previous weeks and allowing them to talk about various political issues with the intent of modeling a civil discussion that honors their relationship.

To what extent are many of the cultural norms for connecting cheap alternatives if not dehumanizing?
