Or'Kiya "Mz.Kiki" Kamau
Mz.Kiki Kamau- My First Amendment
I’m not the average girl in the videos and my worth is not determined by the price of my clothes, but I did overcome obstacles such as abandonment, rape, molestation, and violent family altercations. Then I joined the military, I guess I really was a silent warrior. Hi my name is Mz. Kiki Kamau I’m a Tampa girl, a mom, and a United States Navy Vet. It’s funny that my name is Kamau because it’s Swahili for silent warrior, and for years I stayed silent about my childhood trauma, military trauma, and well just life in general! Not anymore! Just so you know I’m a Leo and we have to roar!

Suicide, I Could've Died. 21.12.2022 58:39
**BONUS EPISODE** I titled this episode: "Suicide I Could've Died" At the age of 33, I was ready to throw it all away. Battling and suffering from PTSD, and not being aware of my triggers and how to control them, caused me to act out in ways some would view as insane. I was not happy with the road I was on working at a call center, not living in a healthy environment, and always being...
No Man Left Behind w/ Ray Budsky 12.12.2022 51:18
I titled this episode: No Man Left Behind because ordinarily, I wanted to interview military veterans for this particular series, but Ray reached out to me about his story which allowed me to give the full spectrum of the topic of PTSD and how it's not always related to the military. PTSD, as I stated in the first episode of this series; does not always stem from military stress or trauma. M...
PTSD & ME w/ Benjamin “The God King” Ford 29.11.2022 59:07
Many people are currently struggling with PTSD and are unaware, Benjamin's advice to you, know your triggers. I agree. When it came to me I was diagnosed with PTSD in 2021 unaware of my triggers so when things became overwhelming or frustrating, I would lash out and blackout. Tell me if you think that's cool or normal. Well to me, it's not a normal reaction during intense situations but it is a ve...
Let’s Chill and Heal! 16.11.2022 41:52
Let’s chill and heal. Years ago a co-worker I did not want to participate in the loud team games that took place in the facility she reached over and told me "calm down and stop taking life so seriously, it's not like I went to war." That got me thinking about how people view PTSD and how others handle those that may be suffering from it. I wanted to start a healing journey because I have be...
Let's Talk About Sex (Doggie-Style) 17.10.2022 37:48
When it comes to sex, many would agree that doggie-style is their favorite position. I believe that some of our likes, dislikes, and behaviors stem from certain history trauma; but that's just my opinion. In this episode, I am giving you a recap of what we talked about in the last episode and going into a new topic. Let me ask you a question..Are you familiar with the term buck breaking? Over the...

Interracial Relationships P.T.3 (My Sell-Out story) 19.09.2022 55:44
We did not all grow up the same. Although I come from a similar background as my peers, what was being taught in the home was a different experience. Race has never been at the forefront of my child hood but colorism has, so in some way race has always played a part in how I conduct myself and my surroundings. In this episode, I am breaking down the things I heard growing up, from my childho...

Interracial relationships Pt.2 (Whats wrong with them?) 31.08.2022 59:54

This is my unbias opinion on the matter. I am giving you facts, emotions, and something to think about. Part three will be coming out on September 19th (my biased opinion) after that we will be wra...

Letting go of your past self, issues, problems, people, jobs, thoughts, habits, and more. We all have special gifts and talents, or aspire to be business men and women, but what are we doing to get there? Our children watch our every move and we are there first teachers, so if we don't believe in ourselves how will we be able to fully believe in our children, our culture, or our future? We must learn to ignore the nay sayers that tells us we can't do something and believe we are meant...
Your Body,Your Art 15.12.2021 45:52
All my life I was given a tainted self image. People knew I was destined for greatness but they either wanted to dim it by keep me for themselves(relationship) or speaking down on me, basically putting a lid on a jar with a butterfly in it. Once that lid opened I forgot how to fly. I lost who I was and who I wanted to be. When I started my company I found myself again and in that I see myself as a...
