This is my life with all its trials and tribulations as a person who stutters. I believe in the power of positivity and I use it in my daily struggles with stuttering. I truly believe that it is OK to stutter and that I can accomplish any goal in my life with a positive mindset. As a husband, a father, a USAF Gulf War Veteran, and as an entrepreneur, I use many tools in my tool belt to become successful in all my endeavors. My goal is to share my journey so that others can see it is possible to be confident, determined, and live a life of positivity. If you are a PWS, you are not alone!

Stuttering & Tools 13.01.2019

As a person who stutters, the two tools that have been instrumental in my speech journey have been hypnosis and diaphragmatic breathing.   You know that when you have a block, your entire body is tensed and it may be that way for a quite a while.  Hypnosis taught me how to breathe into relaxation so that I can use this technique in my daily regimen.  Also, diaphragmatic breathing has taught to me...

Stuttering & Comparing Yourself With Others 06.01.2019

When comparing yourself to others, the outcome is most always unfavorable.  When I was younger I compared myself to others because I did not like who I was because of my stutter.  Now that I'm a little older, somewhat wiser, I am happy with who I am.   It took me a long time to embrace my stutter but once I did, my whole life became a little brighter.
